What is Canadian Business Educational Program? The program is based on the editorial content of Canadian Business magazine. Each issue of Canadian Business brings to life all the subjects and issues students examine in their studies -- the stories are really in-depth case studies that flesh out for the students business and economic theories, terms and procedures. Students learn by examining real-life examples, taken from the current business world. Published twice a week (except in January, July and August), Canadian Business offers the most up-to-date information, expert opinions, and in-depth coverage of stories and developments dealing with business management principles and styles; leadership and entrepreneurship; economic concepts and developments; technologies and applications; human resource management and organizational behviour; marketing and advertising; international business, and more. And all from the uniquely Canadian perspective. A class subscription ($1 per student copy, minimum 12 students for 10 issues or 20 students for 6 issues) to Canadian Business comes with free instructor materials–a free copy of the magazine and an educational guide (Educational Focus) is included with each issue. These free instructor’s guides categorize all the articles according to the courses for which they are best suited; summarize various articles; suggest classroom discussion topics and assignments; and offer complete tutorials that include terminology, comprehension questions (with answers provided for the instructor), and supplementary assignments. Whether used as part of a course or read independently, Canadian Business magazine and accompanying educational supplements will benefit any business student. Q: How much does the Program cost? A: You calculate the cost of the Program by multiplying the number of students times the number of issues times the price. For instance, for a minimum order of 12 students for 10 issues of Canadian Business, the total cost is $120, or $10 per student. Q: How soon after I place the order will I start receiving the magazines? A: We can start service with the current or next month's issue. Q: Can the magazines be delivered to students' homes? A: Yes. Just supply us with the list of your students' full addresses, including phone numbers. Please make sure the list is neatly printed - mistakes in keying this information may result in non-delivery. If you want your students to pay for their subscription, the list should include their payments (i.e., cheque or credit card number). Q: When can I expect to receive the magazines? A: Magazine bundles should arrive at your school every other week, usually around Friday. Q: What is the Educational Focus? When is it delivered? A: The Educational Focus is a free educational supplement published specifically for educators who use Canadian Business as a course resource. The Educational Focus categorizes all the articles according to the courses for which they are best suited, summarizes various articles, suggests classroom discussion topics and assignments, and provides a comprehensive tutorial for the secondary/college level. Q: What do I do if I already placed an order and the number of students in my class changes? A: No problem. We can adjust your order any time. Just call or email us. Ignore the original invoice you have received--we'll send you a revised invoice reflecting the changes to your order. Q: What if I’m not satisfied with the Program?
